The Clan-WDC Gaming Rules, be sure to check in from time to time, in case the rules are getting changed.

Game Host:
The player who initiates the WDC-Game is the responsible for hosting it or finding a host that will satisfy all the players in the game. In case of any lag problems he can decide to remake the game or choose another host.
If there are still lag issues then, a new initiation has to be found.

Channel rules (Clan WDC):

Flaming other players is, at any time, never allowed and a player risks being severely punished for doing so.

You should keep your irc-nick similar to your GGC Account, and your ventrilo account . Do not under any circumstances try to change nick to someone's else auth name, or imitate the WDC-BOT.

Saving Games:
On the agreement of the majority, players can save the game periodically, or after important events(team battles, buildings destruction). In case someone drops from the game, his team can demand a reload from the latest save in case all of the following conditions are fulfilled:

1. The teams' kill/death difference plus the difference of important buildings(barracks and towers) lost has not changed 3 or more points into the favor of opposing team(example: at the moment of last save teams' score was 35/30; Team1 can demand a load if the score is 35/33 or 36/34 and so on, in case no buildings, or equal number of buildings was destroyed; cannot demand, if the score is 35/34 or 36/35 and so on)
2. Not more that 7 heroes from any teams died since the latest save
3. Not more than 10 minutes passed since the moment of the latest save

Dropped Players:
A dropped player's team basically has the following options:
1.) They may request a reload from save game, in case conditions described above are fulfilled.
2.) They may decide to keep playing and in this case they are allowed to use the hero the way they like. They may either leave the items or sell them directly off of the dropped hero, or, in case the whole team agrees, a player may take an item from the dropped hero. It is not allowed for you to pass items to a dropped player.

Dropping Management:
If anyone does not show up at all within 5 minutes for a game he signed up for, you may file a complaint in the warn section, OR punish the player with either exclusion(loss + 40 exp penalty), or .truant(65 exp penalty + big confidence penalty + cancellation of the game) on agreement of other players in game(see bot commands section for detailed info)
If anyone fails to join a game within 10 minutes since its start in channel due to technical problems, players in game can punish him with a truant on a collective agreement. Remember though, that a gesture of good will and situation understanding is always appreciated and is a sign of fair sportsmanship.
If anyone drops from a game (for whatever reason) and the game time is below 15 minutes, the dropped players's team has to decide wheter they want to play it out, or cancel the game (This must be decided at the point of dropping). If anyone drops from a game (except host: see drop rules) when the game time is after 15 minutes the game will continue. The dropped player should be excluded at the game end, unless his team specifically requests otherwise.
If the host drops from the game, and it does not meet the submission criteria above, then the host should be truanted.

Fatal Errors:
If a fatal error occurs the game will be resulted draw unless a team has an advantage of atleast 4 barracks ie. having destroyed 4 of the opponents barracks without losing any themselves or having destroyed all of the opponents barracks and only lost 2. If there is less than a difference of 4 destroyed barracks the game will still be resulted as a draw. If the game mode is ARDM, the game can be resulted providing one team has at least 20 kills advantage.
In case of a savegame prior to the fatal refer to the savegame rules.

Forfeit:
In order for a team to forfeit (ff) u will need to have 4 players agree and type ff in all chat. If this rule is violated, the forfieting team members can file a complaint against the leavers, however this requires at least two members of the team to be valid.

Hero Restrictions:

before game start team captains can make an agreement about additional hero restrictions

Item Restrictions:
2 Necronomicons per team
2 Arcane Rings per team

Lane/Creep Blocking
Blocking the lane with either fissure or using sprout to prevent creeps reaching the lane is not allowed in Clan WDC. You may only block the lane with tauren in an attempt to trap a hero.

Remakes:
In the event of a remake, the map is to be restarted with the same settings. This includes the same players selecting the same heroes, abilities, and starting items, and the same game type.
Further, players have to return to the lanes they were in until the time of disconnect. When remaking the game all of the settings above will be enforced (same player, items, etc). Abuse of this system is considered unfair and will have consequences (complaints @ warn section).

Observers

1) It is the privilege of each captain to select one observer each for any WDC game. Should you wish for this observer slot, query a captain and ask privately to avoid spam in the WDC channel. If the game is a startgame, the bot-selected captains have the privilege of selecting observers.

2) Captains also have the option of agreeing to play the game WITHOUT observers. If you are in the game and do not wish to play with observers, please let your captain know asap.

3) Being an observer in a game means that you are comitted to observing that game and must have a stable connection. Should you drop as an observer causing the game to crash, (without saving the game previously) you will be liable for a Level 2 warning (This effects your confidence at the same level as an exclusion and also comes with a short timeban.)

4) If a staff member wishes to observe an WDC game, and has a valid reason, (particularly monitoring the skill of certain players) this will supercede the captains observer slots.

Pausing/Unpausing:
Pausing the match is allowed in consideration with the 3 timeouts per player limit. However, abuse of this system is considered unsportsmanlike and will have consequences. You are not allowed to unpause an opposing teams pause until 1 minute has passed or until they agree/unpause. After 1 minute the opposing team may unpause without notification, though it would be good natured to give notification. Each team is allowed a maximum of 3 minutes of pause. After 3 minutes of total pause time the restrictions on unpausing are lifted completely and are left to the discretion of the individual players.

Going AFK:
If you plan to go AFK you MUST share control or pause. If you are AFK for longer then 3 minutes total within a game (1 minute total if you did not share control or pause) your teammates have the option of excluding you at the end of the game.

Anyone found abusing the AFK hero (suiciding him/selling items) will be up for a warning.

Exploiting:
The exploitation of bugs will not be tolerated. If a player is found exploiting, they will receive one or more warns as well as a possible ban and their team will lose the match.

Backdooring:
- You are not allowed to attack any tower on the map without creep support.

- You have to enter the base with creeps. As soon as you enter the base with creeps, the complete base is allowed to be destroyed.

- As long as there were creeps in base on the lane you entered , you are allowed to keep attacking even if they die. If you leave the base at this moment you need to have new creeps in the next attack.

- If a tower is denyable (below 10% HP) and is not a base tower, backdooring rules do not apply.

DEFINITIONS : Creeps "Enter the base" when they are upslope on their way into the base.

Creepsupport : The creeps are within 600 Range

-If a players is found guilty of backdooring a lvl 1/2 tower, they will recieve a personal warning

-If a team is found guilty of backdooring a lvl 3 tower/rax, the result will be submitted in favor of the opposing team.

Pooling:
Any pooling is fobidden. Sharing minor health/mana regeneration items between heroes in the same lane for a short period of time does not count.

Ventrilo:
The use of ventrillo is NOT MANDATORY yet.

Sharing:
The sharing of basic regeneration items, wards, consumables, and gems is allowed. Items shared must be returned or used within 5 minutes. Please remember that whenever you purchase an item you are the sole owner of the item -- you can share it for a couple minutes if it is on the list below, but it must be returned or used shortly. The following items are the only allowable items:
· Sentry wards Allowed to be given to another player permanently
· Observer wards Allowed to be given to another player permanently
· Clarity Potion
· Flasks of Sapphire Water
· Chickens (for usage)
· Ring of Regeneration
· Bottle Charges
· Ring of Health
· Sobi Mask
· Void Stone
· TP Scroll Allowed to be given to another player permanently
· Ancient Tango of Essifation Allowed to be given to another player permanently
· Gem of True sight Allowed to be given to another player permanently

Sharing Control:
Players may share control to allow teammates to use their chicken and/or hero to purchase items. Items purchased in this way must be immediately transferred to the proper player or dropped. Combat against other players/creeps with an unowned item will lead to forfeit of the game by your team and a warn.

If a player commits a rule violation that leads to the circumstances, under which the game cannot be continued, this player should be punished with .truant on agreement of all other players in game.
